We are situated in the medieval Borgo of the hilltop hamlet of Velva in Liguria on the Italian Riviera. The village is surrounded by woods, olives and vine groves. In our restored period property we offer a tranquil and atmospheric setting for every guest with fine views of the Mediterranean sea that is a short distance away by car or public transport.
In this unspoilt environment we also offer our guests relaxation and therapy through courses and treatments and stimulating cultural events.
Breakfast can be tailored to suit personal tastes with homemade organic jams and marmalades from fruit grown in the land around the village. Fresh Eggs are available from the free-range village hens and bread is homemade. Organic homemade herbal tisanes and remedies are also available.
Guests can also use the gazebo with panoramic views of the valley for meals and relaxation.

Velva lies at the head of a valley 25 mins drive from the lovely and historic seaside town of Sestri Levante. Sestri is located east of Genova the provincial capital of Liguria in Italy.
From Sestri the famous Riviera towns of Portofino, Santa Margherita and Rapallo, as well as the unique Cinque Terre villages are within easy reach.
Inland from Velva lies the medieval round borgo town of Varese Ligure.
